About Michael

Within the sphere of the Divine, Michael was led into the world of Law Enforcement.  He excelled greatly, and rose through the ranks swiftly and easily, and yet, "this world" was so contraindicated to who he really was.   It was revealed to him years later (in reflection), that he needed to be exposed to the darkness in society, first-hand, so he could succinctly and successfully connect deeply with those who would, eventually, come to him for compassion, tender-kindness, and powerful healing; even though he didn't know it at the time!  Michael DOES relate with others!

After 22 years in Law Enforcement, Michael was 'drawn' into the world of Massage Therapy.  His first recollection was this: 

BEing stressed from the burdens of caring for those who would otherwise NOT experience much kindness, Michael was 'gifted' a certificate for a Massage Therapy session.  He balked.  Nearly a year later, he decided to use the Massage Therapy certificate, as the stress from work was beginning to hinder him substantially.  Throughout the first 20 minutes, all he was thinking was: "when is this going to be over?"  Then, something amazing, began to occur . . . he began to 'soften' and his rigidity began to melt!  Soon, he was relaxed and nearing the point of sleep, as the burdens he carried for many years, were released.

It was in those precious moments, that a renewed Spirit filled his heart and mind. 

Soon after, Michael was offered a HUGE promotion (in his then, current job), with all the 'trappings' for a long, successful career.  After the offer, something 'stirred' within him.  Instead of taking the promotion, he asked if he could take some time to ponder the offer, over lunch.  As he was seeking a suitable restaurant, he 'stumbled' upon a Massage Therapy school.  Hesitantly, he went inside.  One of the staff came right over, and inquired.  Michael agreed to tour the school. 

Not fully swayed, he left the school.  While driving, he recalled that 10-years prior, he had visited a School of Massage Therapy, and received some literature about the school and Massage Therapy.  He drove home, went to his file cabinet, and found the literature . . . it was for the SAME school he had just visited.  Noting the 'coincidence', he drove back to the school, and inquired when the next class would start?

He was informed, "two weeks from today".  Noting the obvious coincidences: start-time (2) weeks and (2) week resignation notice, Michael scheduled to attend the next class, paying in full, so he had to attend.  Upon returning to work, he submitted his 2-week Notice of Resignation. Those around him did NOT understand . . . but he was BEing led by Spirit, into his TRUE CALLING.

Michael again excelled, and progressed rapidly in his new-found world of Massage Therapy.  Michael even began creating his own techniques.  His patients and clients were awestruck, as they had never experienced anything like these unique Massage protocols before.  

Within 2 years, Michael was asked to become a Massage Therapy Instructor at same school he attended.  

Michael has taught:  Anatomy and Physiology, Swedish Massage Therapy, Stone Massage Therapy, Trigger-Point Therapy, Neuro-Muscular Re-education, Reiki (all-Levels), Chair Massage, Florida Law (pertaining to Massage Therapy) . . . and more! 

*NOTE: once Michael was internally 'softened' by Massage Therapy, and all the amazing connections made (through Heart), he began receiving calls (internally) that there IS something more to this adventure!

While directing Massage Therapy practicum with a number of students, Michael observed a student (Gina) holding her hands above another student, not touching her.  Michael approached, and inquired about what she was 'doing', and she stated: REIKI.  Immediately, his heart leaped within him, and his energy skyrocketed.  Michael had never experienced such euphoria!  Michael asked if they could talk after class, and she was excited to share!  Gina provided Michael with her Reiki Master's phone number, and he called immediately after teaching!

During the call, Michael inquired as to when her next Level I class was scheduled.  A week later, Michael was in class for his Level I Certification!  Spirit leads, Michael follows!  The remainder of Michael's Reiki Journey can be discussed in-person, and 'should' be experienced, rather than spoken.  He just left a few breadcrumbs above, to wet your appetite!  

Michael has journeyed through life, and throughout the country, connecting with unknown friends, wherever and however they are!  The Journey continues!
